Diversity Champions

ETrade implements a culture of diversity and inclusion through its seven employee resource groups. These include ETrade Multicultural Resource Group (EMERG), Supporting a Proud Inclusive, Collaborative Environment (SPICE), Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (VERG), Women in Technology, Women @ ETrade, Young Professionals Employee Resource Group, and ETrade Disability and Mental Health Group (EDGE). There also is a D&I Advisory Committee that plays a key role in promoting an inclusive culture. The committee consists of 15 executive members across departments who help drive diversity initiatives.

“We facilitate and welcome open discussions about inclusivity to support our diverse employee base,” said Amie Major, executive director of talent management. “Creating employee experiences that promote curiosity, reflection, and connection spurs engagement and ultimately makes for an inclusive culture at ETrade.”

Along with conversation, the firm is also taking action to create a culture of diversity. ETrade launched its inaugural Diversity in Financial Services thought leadership series to empower investors who have been historically financially underserved.
